New Commercial Construction

When it comes to new commercial construction, timing is everything. The success of the project is measured along the way in the completion of critical tasks – not the least of which includes cabling and infrastructure installation. At SER, we recognize the importance of our role in the “big picture” and we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver services SAFELY and EFFICIENTLY.

We are so committed to new construction installs that we have specially-trained crews dedicated solely to this line of business. Our technicians are all members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and are highly experienced at working in tandem with an increasingly diverse group of skilled trades on new construction sites. SER crews work when needed through all phases of construction to ensure schedules are met and your infrastructure is installed on-time and to exact specifications.

SER has taken on many high profile projects including:

Visteon Village

Visteon Village , the new 800,000 sq ft home to 3,200 employees where we installed the Access and Security Systems.

Beaumont Hospital

Beaumont Hospital : The 656,000 sq ft, 432 bed South Addition where SER installed the Voice, Data and Fiber Infrastructure.

NWA McNamara Terminal

NWA McNamara Terminal : The 2,000,000 sq ft, 97 Gate terminal where SER installed and terminated fiber optic and twisted pair cable, built closets and installed Wireless Access Systems. We also placed, connected and programmed hundreds of computer terminals throughout the airport.

In addition, SER participates with other trade unions (representing 30,000 building trades people) and contractor associations (representing 2000 contractors) in the MUST Program. This program strives for the continuous improvement of safety, quality, and value on construction sites through Safety Awareness Training and Drug and Alcohol Testing.
