When the result of your efforts is
nothing short of extraordinary, it’s tough to keep it
to yourself. Here are a few examples of the kind of
service you’ll get when you partner with SER:
William Beaumont Hospital
Hospital
environments require a special care that SER provides.
That is why SER Communications, Inc. has been a prime
contractor for William Beaumont Hospitals at both their
Troy and Royal Oak Campuses since 1994. We have worked
on hundreds of Voice, Data, Fiber Optic, Nurse Call,
Access and Security projects in the Beaumont System
in that time including the Royal Oak Research Building
and the newly opened South Tower Addition. SER also
provides service to many of Beaumont’s off campus clinics
and offices.
McNamara Terminal at Detroit
Metropolitan Airport
The
new world class McNamara Terminal at Detroit Metropolitan
Airport was one of SER’s most challenging and rewarding
projects. From inception to it’s grand opening on February
24, 2002, SER was there, working with the airlines and
its many sub contractors. SER installed and terminated
hundreds of miles of fiber optic and twisted pair communications
cable. We built dozens of communications closets and
installed the wireless access system that communicates
with the planes at each gate. We also placed, connected
and programmed the hundreds of computer stations throughout
the airport.
Today, airport security is at an all
time high. SER is currently servicing various video
and data systems at the McNamara Terminal with trained
technicians that have security clearance to work throughout
the facility.
Comerica Park
When
the Detroit Tigers were building their new home, SER
was there to provide the On-Time, On-Budget expertise
to install fiber optic and twisted pair backbone cabling
throughout the stadium and to the scoreboard. SER’s
technicians installed the coaxial cabling in the stadiums
state of the art video replay facility and performed
multi-pair splicing on thousands of the twisted pair
communications cables within the stadium.
American Axle World Headquarters
SER
provided design, project management and skilled installation
teams at the new $32 million, seven-story, 252,000-square-foot
American Axle & Manufacturing world headquarters
facility in Detroit, MI. SER was responsible for supervising
and installing the horizontal and vertical voice and
data wiring, the video surveillance and security access
systems throughout the new facility and the parking
structure. Our Sumitomo certified technicians installed
and terminated miles of Sumitomo Air-Blown fiber. Today
our Project Management and Technical Staff continue
to support American Axle for their project and service
needs.
